Question: Nick jonas and diabetes!?
Why does everyone make such a big deal of his diabetes!. I have type 1 diabetes and sure it can be a bit of a nuisance but its pretty easy to control!. I saw this thing on disney channel called jonas brothers living the dream and it had a whole show for his diabetes!. And he wrote a song about it called 'a little bit longer' Anyone else think he is over exaggerating!? It was hard when I was like six and I couldn't eat all the candy i wanted at halloween but I'm 14 now and its fine!. Your thoughts!.!.!.!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

My dad has Type 2 diabetes and he's fine!. Actually, he ate a massive bowl of ice cream yesterday!. As long as he takes his meds, he's usually fine!.
Disney uses it as a gimmick because they count on the fact that everyone will just say "Aww, he's facing death soo bravely!" and that they won't actually think about the fact that diabetes isn't that difficult to control!. They're definitely over-exaggeratingWww@Enter-QA@Com

I think he makes it way out worse than it is!.
I know at least 15 diabetics!. The entire group of them don't ever complain a quarter of the amount he talks about it!.
Spread awareness!? Please who dosen't know about diabetes!?! It really dosen't need awareness and far as diseases go its totally managable, and easy to control as opposed to say MS, Parkinsons, scleroderma, Neurofibromatosis, or other diseases that sorta actually NEED cures!.
I also think his fans wouldn't give a care int he world unless a hot boy had it!.!.!.Mary Tyler Moore has it, and they don't care about her!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

His fans, who really don't know what diabetes is, make a huge fuss about it and I think he, and Disney, feed off that!. It's often said that there's no such thing as bad publicity!. Let's face it; that's what the Jonass Brothers are all about- publicity!. They don't have any talent to back it up, so it's "any port in a storm"!.

jonas brothers: living the dream is only a five-minute television show, so thats not very long to talk about it!. And i see nothing like that, if nick wasn't having a good day with his diabetes and he wanted to write a song he could and i think it's a great song!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think he wants to be an inspiration to kids, which he is!. Some people, not you (which is good), feel like their whole life is over when they get a disease!. Seeing someone sooo famous like that is inspiring! I think its DIsney channel who plays it up, not Nick!. Rock on!. Nick! Www@Enter-QA@Com
I do agree he over exaggerates it, but I think his company makes him over do it more!. I like the song alittle bit longer!. Nick Jonas is a cutie too!. But I don't feel bad for him like his other fans!.

he is not over exaggerating in my opinion!. i respect your opinion but hes on tour, hes not like in a home everyday!. He has to move around a lot and hes constantly busy so when does he really have time to like check his blood sugar and stuff!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

He's using it as a gimmick!. So he's pushing it into the public eye as much as he can!.

yea I agree with you!. There are way worse things to have!. Although in the future the diabetes can cause a lot more problems, so if more problems were to occur, then I would understand the fuss!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
