Question: What's with all the disney kids wearing purity rings!? is it some kind of gimmick!? !?
i don't think the jonas brothers are guilty of this!. they seem like they have really strong faith!.
but now selena gomez wears one and the other day my little sister was watching hannah montanna and miley had one on her left hand!. is disney trying to promote abstinence from sex or something!? or is it just that every girl who wants to get with a jonas slips one on her finger!?
on a broader note, what's the point of purity rings anyway!? do normal kids wear them!? i'm a christian, but i've never seen or heard about them before i saw them on the jonas brothers!. maybe this is because i'm indian!. i don't mean this in an offensive way, but is it a white thing to do!? i mean i don't plan on having sex any time soon, but i don't wear a ring on my finger to show everyone that!. with that said, is it something celebrities do to "ward off" other people!. i'm sure the jonas brothers, being in their late teens/early twenties, have a lot of girls who'd, ya know, want some lol!. but with their rings it kinda sends out a clear message!.

it isnt meant to "ward" anybody off!. its simply a vow that some people choose to make to stay pure until marriage!. i do think that disney stars are getting a little crazy about purity rings!. for some, it might be about the vow!. but for others, it might be about the Jonas Brothers!.
