but i dont know what to do to help me get recognized i write my own songs also but i dont have a camera so i cant record myself i tried castingfusion but was too late :/ so now they're in chicago but i really wanna try singing is a passion of mine and i wanna do something with that <3 thanks for all the answers

if you write your own songs, the first thing you are going to have to do is get a demo recorded!. If you don't have a band, the recording studio should be able to provide whatever instrumentation you are going to need!. Start with one song!. A demo can cost anywhere between a few hundred dollars to a thousand dollars!. (and more than a grand, be wary!.)
Once you have a demo or three (3 song demo) you can start to "pitch" the demo to publishing and management companies as well as entertainment attorneys!. If someone happens to like what you do, you may get a writing deal, or maybe they will take you to a label!.
There is so much more than I have time to write about at this point!. If YOU want this, YOU have to do it!. If you want to be recognized, you have to have a product for people to hear and see (your songs and you)!. You WILL have to spend money!.
Are people still "discovered" on the streets and given contracts and pie in the sky!?!? maybe!.!.!. but don't count on it!.!.!. its up to YOU!.!.!. and you alone!.!.!. or you may end up alone!.!. singing to yourself in!.!.!. your shower!.!.!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

well the two ways to really get yourself out there is to get a band and sign up for some gigs, my cousin started small and is slowly getting bigger, it takes a while but thats probly better, i mean the REALLY BIG stars are like brittany spears, so starting small couldnt hurt
