He did a show over here called Big Brothers Big Mouth about 4 or so years ago, this pretty much launched his career and got him in front of a reasonable sized audience!. So yes I guess the answer to your question is we did!.
also dont think you are special he insults pretty much everyone!. Look at the British people who have made it over your side of the Atlantic - Simon Cowell, Gordon Ramsey and now Russell!. None of them are scared to say what they think!. It is the general feeling in Britain that you are too sensitive and almost afraid to say what you really think!. Oh my gosh, i love Russell Brand! I'm British btw!. He was the best part of the VMAs! The rest was unbearable generic crap!
Of course i found him funny before the VMAs, and he didn't insult 'America', he just mocked Bush (your VERY unpopular President) and had a laugh with the Jonas Brothers!. What makes you think he insulted America!? He likes it over there!. And if you think the rest of the world have no right to talk about your Presidential candidates, you're very wrong!. Because the decision you make affects the world in terms of any potential wars your government might start ABROAD and the global warming impact of drilling for more oil in Alaska or off Florida!.

I first saw him on a chat show in Britian about a year ago and though he was reasonably funny ,so I looked him up on the net and found a recording of him doing a show in London ,which again I thought was humorous but not much more!.I don't know what he could have said to insult the entire population of the US (Tell us please as i'm curious) ,I know he said something about your president being a retarded cowboy,but that can't be what you are refering to ,

Saw him in the newly released film, Forgetting Sarah Marshall!. He was exactly like he is on Little Brother, all the same mannerisms and cliches!. It confirmed for me that he is only "a one trick pony" He did play the part well though, but can't see how he can have a follow up part, as he used up all his gags!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
