Question: Don't you think Disney Stars are just getting better and better!?
I loved the old Disney like Cinderella and Beauty and The Beast but I think that modern Disney Stars are more relevant and provide more realistic role models!.
I think an important part of being a Disney star is to provide an example to the fans!.
The Jonas Brothers are especially good at this!. They are well mannered, well brought up and love their fans!. They promote virtue and chastity when very few other stars do and they stand up for what they believe in even in the face of great opposition (the so called "haters")!.
I love their music and I love what they stand for!!

I think it's frightening!. They are controlling every aspect of their young stars lives!.!.!.!.before their stars are of capable age!.
Miley Cyrus was locked into a contract by 14!.!.!.!.!.!.and does mildly provocative dance routines even though she's easily underage!.
also I think its bad for kids, only 2 or 3 years ago the OC was getting wrapped for saying that it tells 16 and 17 year old girls they have to be outrageously good looking!. Now High School Musical is doing it for 13 to 15 year olds!.

I think a lot of the Disney stars these days are talented, but I don't think they are very good role models!. The Jonas Brothers are ok , but its Miley cyrus that I'm really talking about here!.
Disney films nowadays are all trying to say 'find your true self' but I actually think Disney are setting unrealistic goals for children these days, especially girls!. The seven main Disney stars (Joe, Nick, Kevin, Miley, Demi and Selena) are all too perfect!. They can sing, dance, act, they're wonderful people, etc!. I think its actually setting a BAD example on kids these days, encouraging them to believe that THEY should be perfect too!.
