Question: As tragic as a plane crash may be, does it bother (irk) you when they make parallels between Travis Barker!.!.!.!?
and the unfortunate events (i!.e!., plane crashes) that lead to the death of (REAL) musical greats like Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, Glen Miller, Randy Rhoades, etc!.
Honestly though, I do not wish any harm to Mr!. Barker or Dj AM, but I think this another example of someone missing the mark!. In my opinion, they gave mr!. barker too much credit!.

In a music sense, Barker or Dj AM will probably not be rememberd for their contributions to music well beyond their death, so your right to say it' n ot as comparable to those you mention!. Still a shame though, some folks must admire them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
While I think you are right that he will not be AS remembered as some others, I think Travis and Blick182 have had a great impact on today music, and they are doing extremely well!.
I think they will be one of those band that you hear in 20+ years and go ''oh what was the name of that band again!?''
As for the credit, give it where it is due - he is a talent musician!.
