Question: Do you think it's stupid when female celebrities try to look like Marilyn Monroe!?
SO many female celebrities have tried the "Marilyn" look!. It's so tired and done!.!.!.!.red lips, short, bobbed curled hair, white dress etc! I have seen Madonna do it, Christina Aguscara, Lindsey Lohan, Anna Nicole Smith and many others I am probably leaving out!. They all pretty much look hideous!. Marilyn was beautiful in the 1950's and her iconic image is still beautiful today, IN A GRAINY 1950'S PHOTO WITH BAD 1950'S LIGHTING!
These modern celebrities trying to imitate her just look trashy and gaudy!. I swear, every time I see some celebrity doing the Faux-Marilyn look I just cringe! It's not a look that looks good on most women!. It seems like every woman who tries this look ends up looking garish and overdone!. This was true in the 50's and today!. Few woman I know make a good 'Marilyn" look alike!. Some of these celebs don't even resemble Marilyn at all in skin tone or facial shape!. What are they thinking!? It always looks BAD!
