why she didn't move them some place nicer/safer etc

her family may have wanted to stay grounded and be modest!.
also i imagine the family was close with the community!.
plus the neighborhood probably held memories!.
i imagine jennifer offered but i read somewhere her mom didnt want to move!.
if i had the money id move my family if they wanted if they didnt id let them be!.
