This incident has got out of all proportion!. Yes it was SLIGHTLY distasteful but they have apologised, why are people calling for them to be sacked!. They joked that Brand had slept with a woman, it wasn't racist, it wasn't homophobic or attacking a religious group like many comedians do!. Lets get some perspective people and all lighten up!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Totally agree, people wouldn't know humour if it slapped them on their humourless faces, Russell Brand is a comic legend, it was obviously taken way out of proportion, if people answered their phones in the first place when they know they are going to be interviewed then maybe people wouldn't have this problem, its a radio show if someone doesn't answer their phone you have to improvise

I agree!. Andrew Sachs portrayed Spanish people as hapless simpletons years ago so his reputation as a spotless theatrical altruist is far from flawless, rather like his granddaughter, who had sex with Russell Brand whilst working as an exotic dancer in a band called the Satanic Sl*ts!. It was Jonathan Ross who instigated it anyway!. Andrew Sachs hasn't had a job for 30yrs and even then it was a pre-written role which could've been played by any actor able to attempt a crass Spanish brogue!. People need to lighten up, get over it and be thankful we have comedians capable of shaking things up in this country!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The messages included Ross saying that Brand had "f*****d" Sachs' granddaughter and the pair joking that that the former Fawlty Towers actor might kill himself as a result!. Can anyone tell me what's so funny about that!?
The BBC apologised to Sachs, who played Manuel in Fawlty Towers, describing the broadcast as "unacceptable and offensive"!.
Both these boors have now gone to rock bottom in my estimation!.

No!. I believe it was a vile, horrible, nasty thing to do, especially to an elderly man like Andrew Sachs!. I don't think it's fair for Brand and Ross to be sacked, but I think an enquiry should be made!. Television should not be seen to be condoning this kind of childish, pathetic behaviour from grown men whom many members of the public like!.

Most of the people offering their opinions have not actually heard the radio programme, i notice that the number of complaints went up more than a week after broadcast!.
In the same show he told Gael García Bernal that he wants to have sex with him, and told Dennis Norden that he had a hard on!.

I disagree entirely!.!.!. I think Russel Brand and Jonathon Ross can both be hilarious but this was NOT the case this time!.!.!.what they did was upset an old man at home!. What they did caused him great distress and probably his grand-daughter too!.
