In the very beginning (where the piano is being played), it is modern times!. A girl picks up a photo album in what appears to be her grandparents house!. There are old pictures of her grandparents!.
When the official song is being played, the Jonas Brothers are on board a boat to Ellis Island!. This is taking place when most immigrants went through Ellis Island to find a better life in the US!. Two people on the boat fall in love because of love at first sight!.
In the middle of the video, they (the two people in love) are moving into their new house after just getting married!. The Jonas Brothers, here, appear to be some friends of these two people!. It looks like they are having some sort of house warming party!. The husband gets a letter telling him that he is drafted into a war (World War One, I think)!.
After getting the letter, he does not tell his wife!. Instead he takes her out dancing, where the Jonas Brothers are performing!. At the dance, the husband tells his wife and they are sad!. The music video shows him about to board the boat and them telling each other their goodbyes!. She ties her necklace on his wrist before he leaves!. Later, when he is about to go on an important mission (hence the red flashing lights) he kisses the necklace for good luck and because he misses her!. After that scene, there is a flashback to when they kissed at the dance!.
As you can see the man survived!. These two lovebirds are the grandparents of the girl who picked up the photo album!. At the very beginning of this music video you see the husband is sleeping on the couch!.

I think it is based in the past a while back and the guy is falling in love with that girl!. They are saying love bug as to that means love in it and they are saying she is different because she isn't trying to be beautiful and that she is being modest while doing it Www@Enter-QA@Com
