Answers:
Yeah, it P's me right off! Www@Enter-QA@Com

Why was the Ross/Brand error of judgement seen as being newsworthy at all, never mind headline news !?

A silly prank that shouldn't have been aired, offended TWO people (before the Daily Mail decided to start their witchhunt) is not news!. Having said that the Rwanda crisis never made it onto the news as the headline news either - Britain can be very insular when it comes to news (except for the coverage of the American Presidential campaigns, which has been all over our screens for months)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's despicable, isn't it!? It wasn't just last night either, and it's been the on front of newspapers for the last 3 or 4 days!. Yes, they were wrong, but come on, Bin Laden's walking round untouchable with all the devastation he's willing and able to cause; we have terminal diseases which kill adults and children long before their time; we have kids with knives and guns killing each other; we have natural disasters which wipe out thousands upon thousands at a time; we have rapists; murderers; paedophiles; racists; drug dealers etc, etc, etc!.!.!.in the grand scheme of things, is what they did really that bad!? Are they really the worst headlines the media can come up with!? It's pathetic, it's like Jade Goody all over again!. They apologised to the guy and he accepted it, time to move on xWww@Enter-QA@Com

I think it is because the tragedy in the Congo is never going to go away and it's a bit like crying wolfe once to often folk ignore it and look towards sensationalism!.

Is is the case that many of feel a sense of guilt at not be able to physically help these poor people and push it to the back of our minds and look for more comfortable news!.

Until we help en masse this plight of these poor forgotten souls is only going to get worse!. What is the answer!.!.!.meantime we will be watching millions starve to death!. My god it is a tragedy of biblical prorportions!.

My heart goes out to them but they need practially help not my heart!.

Do we stand outside supermarkets with collection boxes!? I think not I did this for Rawanda many years ago what good did it do!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Not angry, no!. Resigned would be a better word!.

There are lots of news items of interest the UK viewers which are about British citizens elsewhere in the world that get ignored!.

Which channel!? or was it all of them!? If it was the BBC then if they'd put the story further down the list they'd probably have been accused of trying to bury it!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Because the media like to think they can control the world with hyped up cr*p and try to get the public to go along with them and they make tons of money from the idiots who go along with it and buy into it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Licence payers would want the important headlines first!. If they didn't then they would get criticised for announcing foreign affairs first!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I know!
the media, wont get over it! that's why!?!

i bet half the people of the Y!A community have actually got over it, well i know i have!.!.!Www@Enter-QA@Com

No there is always a crisis in the Congo, it is hardly headline newsWww@Enter-QA@Com

if it wasnt, the BBC would be criticised for trying to ignore their mistakes!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
