What type of Leather Jacket did Jim Morrison wear throughout his Lizard King era!

Question: What type of Leather Jacket did Jim Morrison wear throughout his Lizard King era!?
Answers:
I am pretty sure that Jim's friend and tailor January Jansen made most of his leather clothing so it is likely that he made these jackets too!. If you are looking to buy a jacket similar in style I can help to name a few things in order to make it easier to find!. There's the jacket with the huge lapels like this: http://earsucker!.com/wp-content/uploads/!.!.!. and the more generic leather jacket like this: http://www!.rockabilia!.com/files/img/PROM!.!.!. I also remembered the weird pony suit http://crystal-ship!.com/images!.php!?fld=1!.!.!. and the shearling jacket he had!. In most cases you may be able to find something similar in a leather store!. The stuff there sort of looks too country or biker so you may need to get it tailored which will cost a lot because leather is hard to work with!. The lapel jacket had a more classic almost suit like fit, so look for something with good tailoring and seaming; the lapels are unique so it may be difficult to find but there are different options and designs so you may find something similar!. The one I described as generic has a bomber type style and fit to it with minor details for the buttons and grommets but overall it shouldn't be too difficult to find!. The pony suit is basic in cut; it is mainly a single breasted jacket with no lapel and is almost cut in an Indian type of style!. i think the shearling is a pretty common type of jacket, it is just a matter of finding it!. It is more popular for men (which I assume you are) but if not there is a really nice jacket at h&m for women it has some changes but it looks really nice and the price was good for a heavy jacket (plus it was made from faux materials so it is more animal friendly)
The main thing I noticed about Jim's jackets were the quality of leather used; it seems that his jackets and pants were all made of the really soft buttery leather which adds to the look of it!. However, I don't really condone wearing leather since there are alternatives that can potentially look just as good, but it's your jacket so you pick what material you want it made of!.
I hope I helped to answer your question!. Sorry if it didn't really help, there were just many leather jackets and all of which were custom made!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
