I don't want John Simm in the role!. Remember he did "Life on Mars" and quit after just one or two seasons!? And said something about he doesn't like to do roles for long because he doesn't like being bored !.!.!.!. something like that, anyway!. So we have CE for 1 season, DT for 3, and then JS for 1, and now there have been 3 Doctors in 5 years, and only TWO regenerations left!. Nope!. Sorry, get someone who is going to stick around for a bit so Steven Moffatt can figure out how the series is going to develop for the last years of the last three Doctors!.
{sigh} I go on vacation for 8 days, and you guys let Tennant quit on me!. And nobody told me!. I had to stumble across the news here on Y!A late last night!.
AND WE'VE BEEN WATCHING BBC NEWS ALL WEEK ON THAT SHIP!!! AND NOT ONE FRIGGIN WORD ABOUT THE IMPORTANT NEWS!! Good grief, they could have shut up about the election long enough to get this story in!. We voted before we left anyway - the election stories are just getting boring now!.
Sorry, folks - you all have had a few days to think about this and I've barely had 24 hours!. I'm still sulking!. Spacephantom is right; the change will be okay and we'll all love the new Doctor!. I just wasn't ready for DT to leave yet!. I hoped he would break Tom Baker's record for number of seasons!.
