Well because some people like the band/team so much that they are kind of an idol and they want to see them perform!. Alot of people just wanna go see them because of the fact that they have been on TV or are nationally known!. In my case I would love to go see Lil' Wayne because he is one of the best rappers alive and everyone knows who he is, I like him so much that I would be willing to pay just about what ever the going price was, and the media and the band managers know that, that is the reason they price the tickets so high!. For example!. watch led zeppelin or the who live, then you'll see why people pay so much for live shows!.

I payed $65 I believe for general admission to a Rage Against the Machine concert!. Then I drove 4 hours to see them but they are my favorite band and the concert was so amazing it was completely worth it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Because people who are HUGE fans and would do anything to see them pay huge amounts of money!. The most I've payed was for a Jonas Brothers concert; I payed 70 dollars and I was close to the stage!.
