I don't think it has too much to do with genetics!.
I mean think about it, sometimes people have terrible voices and they get singing lessons and they turn out great! I think training your voice to sound good really has an impact!.
If someone has had no training whatsoever and has parents who don't sing, they still could have great voices!.

I have a beautiful singing voice and have sung for many years, and not only can my parents not hold a tune, no one in my extended family can!. It seems I am the only member of my entire family second and third cousins included who can sing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
