American drivers?
i just read in the paper that most drivers in the united states can not drive stick shift geared cars.
the paper reported how a car thief stole a top end car but because it had a manuel gear box he could not get the car to go forward.
so i want to ask. americans who are drivers
can you drive stick shift or just automatic transmission cars

I learned to drive in a stick shift.
It was a Suzuki samurai jeep.
My next two cars were sticks too.
I currently drive an automatic, mainly
because it's easier to eat or drink my
coffee when driving far. Seriously.
As far as that report, I don't agree.
Lots of people have sports cars, and you will never see a Man in an automatic sports car!
There are LOTS of people who drive sticks.
I actually miss having a stick shift, it's
more fun to drive! :~)
