i can't remember what commercial it was, but i think the artist was frank sinatra, or at least someone that sounded a lot like him.

the lyric was something like "sitting on a ......"

I really don't know if it was used in a commercial, but Sinatra sang a version of "I've Got the World On a String"...just a stab in the dark.
