Moody Blues or Chicago?

I like the Moody Blues, but Chicago -- in its original form, when Terry Kath was still alive -- brought something unique to the table.
Their musicianship was outstanding, their compositions ambitious and intelligent. They managed to bring rock-and-roll together with modern jazz in an unprecedented way.
And it took some guts to have three different guys -- Kath, Bobby Lamm and Peter Cetera -- share the lead singing duties.

I think "Chicago II" is one of the greatest albums ever recorded.
