Yesterday was my last day at my old job, I don't trust my coworker so I sent my key via UPS to my boss directly (so I could make sure it got there) now my ex-co worker has called leaving messages saying that she will take legal action against me if I don't return the key to her today. It's already in the mail, she's not my boss....so far, I haven't responded to her. The owner knows that the key is in the mail, what should I do from here?

Wow, she sounds like a real jerk. She also sounds like she's up to no good. Why else would she butt into your business demanding the key when she isn't even your boss? It sounds to me like you used wisdom by mailing it to your boss. I would just ignore her. She'll probably make claims at work behind your back that you won't get the key back to her and that you probably stole it and won't she look foolish when they tell her one day you sent them the key.
