Someone did ask me that, I found it rude as it was a complete stranger.
Answers:
Ask them how many teeth they have, and then ask them if they are having problems counting them, offer to knock them out of their head to better suit their counting.
As an aside, I once was going for a job interview, for another position in the company, and when I was asked why I was all dressed up I lied and said I was going for a loan - thinking no one would be rude and ask what it was for, but, two people did ask me - and me being the creative guy I am - I came up with this elaborate story as to why I wanted the money and how the meeting went and all sorts of jazz. I like to mess with people, especially rude people, heh.
