Does everything happen for a reason?!
Question:
Does everything happen for a reason?
Answers:
Events that occur in life are nothing more than pure coincidence and happenstance, some more uncommon and farfetched than others. Not everything happens for a reason. Only that which was based upon logical or illogical thought, will happen for a reason.
Example: I noticed that my car brakes sounded a bit weird. I decided to tweak them a bit to fix them, instead of taking it to a mechanic. As a result, my brakes failed on me due to my lack of auto-mechanic knowledge.
However, mere coincidences and uncommon events that occur seem to be based more on feelings, which lead many people to believe that it "happened for a reason". Without any kind of intellectual thought backing it, these events in life are deemed as coincidences, and have various meanings based on the person.
Example: A person's grandmother recently passed away. Before she did, the grandmother wished good fortune on her grandchild. A few weeks later, the grandchild wins the lottery. That grandchild would believe it happened for a reason: because the grandmother wished it to be so.
Take the path of logic, or take the path of faith. Your call.
