Question:

Can someone please define this? "Come dressed as your fav Sci Fi character!"?

I just am not sure what exactly is Sci Fi apart from the obvious, everyone i know just goes Star Trek and Star Wars.

Is it any science fiction movie, book , etc and if so whats your suggestion?

Cheers!

Answers:

Are you only talking about American Sci-Fi?

Oh gosh. You could do Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) from Star Trek: Voyager. She wore a tight sort of catsuit/leotard complete with it's own corset. Took awhile to get into and the actress wanted to burn it. Also had her hair in an updo and Borg attachments.

The movie "The Fifth Element" is sci-fi. There's Leelou (Milla Jovovich) who wore like, rubbery orange suspenders on a shortsleeve white cutoff and tight-fitting... I guess they were like stockings with girlish black boots. Orange hair with blonde roots, though.

Or for really complicated, in the movie there's the Diva ... uh.. Plavalaguna. Decked out in all blue and rubbery tentacles, black lipstick and nail polish.

There's a tv series by Joss Whedon called Firefly with a movie titled "Serenity." It's an interesting series about the future colonization of other planets, none of the girl characters are dressed particularly outstanding but you could look into it. Gina Torres' character has kind of a cool trenchcoat and red neck scarf in the movie.

A tv series called Battlestar Galatica has a hot Cylon (alien/cyborg thing..) called Six in the 2003 remake. She's got wavy short blonde hair; her spine glows red when she has sex.

The movie "Blade Runner" has two main girls, Pris and Zhora. Pris has like a studded black collar and a sort of transparent/fishnet shirt with blonde hair and bangs. Not sure how Zhora looks; she may or may not carry a snake.

If you want to go into vampires and the like, there's Buffy the Vampire Slayer for an obvious one. Or there's a popular series of novels about Anita Blake by Laurel K. Hamilton. Anita is ... curvacious, with long dark curly hair and scars on her left collarbone and arm. It's not too complicated to dress like her, she wears dark colors and a cross. Oh, I think it's a rosary; she's catholic.

Or there's a tv show about grim reapers titled "Dead Like Me" there are a few main girl characters. Roxy (Jasmine Guy), an meter maid then cop by day. Betty (Rebecca Gayheart) an adventurous woman who likes to dress femme and expensive. George (Ellen Muth) who dresses kinda frumpy/casual. Daisy Adair (Laura Harris) a happy blonde starlette who dresses kind of tasteful girly, think silk neck scarves and slender coats.

Um, or, if you could pull it off I'd suggest Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop, an anime about space and gangsters (sorta). She's got pale, pale skin, a purple bob haircut, red lips, and a revealing yellow two piece outfit with nude thigh-highs and white(?) ankle boots. Mm, also has a drape/pashmina thing sometimes. She's a bounty hunter with a sad past.

And for video games, there's always the Final Fantasy series; some blend into Sci-Fi themes. Or Xenosaga. In Xenosaga there is Shion, a modest-looking scientist with round glasses and a long brown braid. She wears a sort of tan colored uniform with black stockings. In the sequel she loses the glasses and wears a sexier outfit. Then there's KOS-MOS, an android built to fight off the enemy, with red eyes and cyan blue long hair. She wears um, a strange white outfit I guess.

I hope these helped; I know some are hard to pull off.
