What is "104", in reference to the xxxHolic manga?!

What is "104", in reference to the xxxHolic manga?
I've been seeing icons supporting Doumeki x Watanuki all over 'teh intarnets', with the number "104" on them. I feel like I'm missing an inside joke, here.
I read chapter 104, or at least I /think/ it was 104, thinking it would make things clearer to me, but I didn't see anything that screamed, "Please, make millions and millions of icons out of me". Is 104 referring to something else? Did something specific happen in that chapter that I wound up oblivious to? x.x

104 is a reference to their names. The first kanji (Chinese character) in 'Watanuki' means 4 and the first kanji in 'Doumeki' means 100. When those two kanji are written together it can be read as 104. It's a name that originated in the Japanese fandom. ^_^
