When last did you do something bold?

I guess mine is talking to one of the girls i work with. She has recently been offered a senior postion at my work and accepted but has since been having doubts about how well she is going to cope. So last week I made a point of writing down everything for her about her job role and what will be exspected of her. I also sat with her and went through everything and we talked about my experiences when i first became senior there. Shes in the same situation i was in. Shes very good friends with two others we work with, they often go out together outside of work etc. Shes worried that they will not take her postion nicely and react differently towards her. I was in the same boat once before and i had to learn how to get through this if i wanted to keep my job. I had to do this on my own and so i spent time with her sharing my experience and she now feels much better knowing its not going to be easy but that shes got all the managments support. I think that was bold of me to help her out, no one else has offered her that much time and consideration.
