How do we get those Orange adverts removed from the start of movies?!
Question:
How do we get those Orange adverts removed from the start of movies?
Does anyone have any ideas? Like a petition, or a temporary boycott of Orange services? In my own opinion the company would be better off not running these adverts at all.
I visit the cinema very often and frequently these 'humourous' ads which do nothing but insult the moviegoer I have to sit through 20 times, and they're not funny the first time.
(I don't know if this only applies to the UK, but the ads usually show a down-on-his/her-luck actor appealing to a smarmy board of Orange company directors.)
A trivial issue I know, but I go to the cinema to be entertained, not driven into a teeth-grinding homicidal rage.

As a major sponsor to the British Film Industry, (The Orange sponsored BAFTAS spring to mind), I cannot see it happening soon. But if you have a large stash and wish to both buy out their contract and then re-sponsor them for the same or increased remuneration, I am sure they will be happy to oblige.
