What is the most insulting thing your mother-in-law ever said to you?
My x mother-in-law would forever compare me to her daughter who is a workaholic, mother earth incarnate, Martha Stewart wanna be. I mean she was great at everything. I would constantly be compared to her. All she had to say was "Tracy does this" and my blood presser would go up
Answers:
Mine would say "Why aren't you Judy?" her son (my ex)'s one true love. Or -- "Why isn't he a priest?" (because he was a minister, you get the idea) Naming the children after her family members was so important and earthshaking that I named them after... no one, which is really a shame.
But I guess the most insulting thing my mother-in-law said was actually not to me, but about me, and to MY mother "I don't know why I let him marry HER!"
