"Like This" by Mims sounds a lot like hyphy songs in the Bay Area!?!

Question:

"Like This" by Mims sounds a lot like hyphy songs in the Bay Area!?

Why does Bay Area music get ignored on the national scale but then a NYC rapper can come out with a song copying Bay style and gets tons of air and video play, doesnt sound too fair to me!

AJ08 You might think he has no staying power, people thought that with a lot of rappers that started in the early 2000s that are still in the game. The radio stations in the Bay play Bay music along with other mainstream Hip Hop, so its easy to notice when people copy our style.
