Does anybody have anything intelligent to say today ??

I think "~BlackHeart~" has parsed the correct here, at least for me. It's either intelligence or dark opinions with me as well, and some days it's not easy to tell the two apart.

Especially when you have the idiot trolls running around posting *sincere* questions one minute and then going back to their obscene nonsense the next. O_o But enough about them.

What I really want to know is...? Are we there yet?

You know, is the *real* 21st century here yet? The one we grew up on, and were promised would be here already: the one with the flying cars, robots, moon bases, extra-terrestrial BFFs, jet packs, cool powers and the whole nine yards.

Really, so far, all we've got to show for ourselves is that "communicator" thing from _Star Trek_ (cellphones). Everything else seems to be sliding backwards, sideways, something.

So yeah....are we there yet? O_O That is about as smart as it gets for me this Monday, July 23, 2007.
