Don't let anyone tell you that what they say is the best guitar you are going to get for your money. Half of these people are wrong and you can get a higher priced guitar for under 150 dollars. I won't try to push a guitar on you because I remember people did that to me before I bought my beginning Les Paul four years ago. Go to your local music store and look at some guitars, see how they play and how they feel when you play them. Whichever feels good usually allows to to better your playing. But you can take a look at the link I'm going to provide you which is filled with guitars from 99 dollars to 150 dollars. Check out the page and look at the guitars and which ones you think you would like to play and go to your local music store and either find the same one or one very similar. Have the store associates explain stuff to you about it, but I wouldn't suggest buying one of these guitars from them, because on the street and stuff the guitars on this page have original prices of anywhere from around 200 to 300 dollars.

I would suggest you look at the Epiphone Les Paul Special II Deluxe Electric Guitar. It's an almost identical match to one of those 2000 dollar Les Pauls for only about 130 dollars. You can see how they play by picking up a Les Paul at your music store. The Epiphone Les Paul Special II itself will be slightly smaller and lighter but it still plays like the big dogs. But the guitars from this website are always new and never damaged in anyway when you receive them, so don't hesitate to order one because if you don't like the guitar when you get it theres a 45 day return policy if you aren't satisfied.

On Acoustic terms I would suggest getting an Epiphone Blem DR-100 which plays really nicely for such a low price. Or you could order the Epiphone DR-100, and for a little more in the Epiphone family of acoustic guitars is the Epiphone PR-150.. All of these guitars play beautifully.
