i've heard of it, and was wondering what it was. is it a part of Rurouni Kenshin or what? oh, and please don't think i'm stupid if i'm wrong, i just have no clue. thanks Additional Details

i mean, is it like an ova or a movie? "Samurai X" was the name given to the Rurouni Kenshin movie and the Rurouni Kenshin OVAs (Original Video Animations)
'Samurai X: The Motion Picture' is known in Japan as Ishin Shishi he no Requiem (the full Japanese name is Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Kenkyaku Roumantan - Ishin Shishi he no Rekuiemu) and was subtitled and also dubbed under 'Samurai X: The Motion Picture' in English.
The first OVA series is 'Samurai X: Trust' and 'Samurai X: Betrayal', collectively known in Japan as Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen (Recollection) Both were later edited into a movie called 'Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal' which was subtitled in English
The second OVA is 'Samurai X: Reflection', known in Japan as Rurouni Kenshin: Seisōhen (Time) and was subtitled in English as 'Samurai X: Reflection' Samurai X is Rurouni Kenshin, but that name is mostly used for the OVAs and to call the anime sometimes. Samurai x is an anime...a very nice one...i love it...try searching on the net for more info...you'll find a lots for sure!! Samurai X IS Rurouni Kenshin. When Rurouni Kenshin made its debut in the US, they thought 'samurai' sounded better and more mysterious than 'Rurouni Kenshin' so they changed the name. It's the same anime, really.
