Why is jimmy in a wheelchair on degrassi?
Answers: He Was shot.
It should have been somebody else not him.
But he was in the way.
Now he is Paralyzed from waist down. uh, this guy rick shot him. cause jimmy was falsely accused for setting up a prank that spinner, jay and alex played on rick.

under Season 4 Getting Shot some crazy guy shot him in rage because he was tired of everyone bullying him and spencer blamed it on jimmy soo he shot jimmy in the back What happened was that Spinner and Jay realized that Rick was listening in to one of their convos, and they suddenly decided to blame the whole tar and feather thing on Jimmy. So Rick goes home, takes a gun, and comes back to school. He goes after Jimmy, shoots him, making him paralyzed from the waist down. I hope that helps.
