Sailor Moon Manga?

What is the Sailor Moon Manga about?
I heart that it is different story

Answers: The Sailor Moon manga series, Bishōjo Senshi Sērā Mūn?, Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon) was the first version of what would eventually become the media franchise known simply as Sailor Moon. It was created by Japanese artist Naoko Takeuchi and debuted in Nakayoshi magazine in December 1991.

It continued to be serialized by Nakayoshi throughout its five-year run, except for certain side-stories which appeared in Kodansha's Run Run. The book collections were all published by Kodansha.

Naoko Takeuchi, the story's creator, devised the idea when she wanted to create a cute series about girls in outer space. Her editor, Fumio Osano asked her to put them in sailor fuku. This resulted in Codename wa Sailor V, to which Sailor Moon is a sequel, and which stars one of Sailor Moon's secondary protagonists, Minako Aino.[1]

When Codename wa Sailor V was slated to become an anime, Takeuchi decided to merge in plot elements from the popular sentai genre, most notably the concept of a team of five heroes. The manga was reimagined as Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon, with a new central character: Usagi Tsukino. Only after the completion of the first series was Takeuchi asked to continue, and four more story arcs were produced.[2]

The complete original manga spans 52 issues, known as Acts, as well as nearly a dozen side-stories. These were originally collected into 18 Volumes, beginning in July 1992 and concluding with the series in 1997.[3] Beginning in 2003, the series was rereleased in a new format known as the "Renewal" or "Shinsōban" edition. The individual Acts have been redistributed so that there are more per book, and some corrections have been made to dialogue and even art. In all, the new edition consists of 12 story volumes (each with new cover-art) as well as two "short story" volumes, separating the short stories from the main plot.[4]

Completly different that the dubbed version we are all so familiar about.
1. Serena is not much of a cry baby and clusy
2. Darien is not a jackass as we have seen, he is totally sweet and charming
3. Rei and Serena are actually the best of friends.... the closest you can think of
4. Rini is a pain int he butt but is very sweet and not annoying as we know her to be. She actually wanted to make sure her parents were together.
5. Serena & Darien as far as i know had sex in the manga, its not explict but laid out as read between the lines sort, the only valued proof is the pictures of Serena wearing an overall in Darien room, they had a very romantic session and the next scene serena is not wearing the overalls but Darien's shirt....(hmmmm).....

To be quite honest the manga is what you can say the most realistic you can get. we know the time shifted in Season 1 of sailor moon , in the manga it never did. they all died. the battle are more battles, you can feel the blood spilling when you read it....the feelings of each person is felt, the hurt, the pain, the love.....everything

Though the dubbed has it tips and such, i assure you the manga give you a more insight on the whole storyline and such and Serena's feeling and struggles as she lives a life of her own, with her lover and friends Yes it's a different story. If you just do a yahoo search you can probably find downloadable sailor moon manga.

(give best asnwer to the person above me. That must have taken her awhile to look up.)
