Answers: He is critically injured, on the brink of death, (and I know to you neji fans that part must have been hard to watch). The medical ninjas use alot of seals and many other jutsu to bring him to a full recovery. Chouji was in a bad as shape a neji maybe worse, but with the help of the Nara medical books, Tsunade was able to bring him to a full recovery,kiba was in bad shape too but not as bad as the first two. They shook hands Apparently, he and everyone else who stayed behind to fight the rest of the Sound Four were rescued by a back-up squad of Konoha medical ninja, while Shikamaru, Rock Lee, and Kiba were assisted by the Sand Ninja, Temari, Gaara, and Kankurou, respectively. So, they're all okay. he gets taken back to the leaf village after all the battles are over the sand siblings helped and stuff.heal by the 5th hokage he got the worst injuries but don't worry all the good guys will win and survive Neji passes out, from gaining too much injury, like chouji. However, they all survive, with Chouji in a life-threatening situation, but Nara clan's medicine helps save him. Neji being mortally wounded, but survives. Kiba suffering from a injury in the shoulder, but not life threatening as neji or chouji, and shikamaru from a broken finger. Naruto makes it off fine, but loses to sasuke. He was nearly dying (and he would have) if later,the medical team wouldn't have reached him and put him under intense cure. In fact the medical team was sent after all of the genins asigned to the sasuke retrieving mission. So they also took care of choji... Then neji is healed in konoha! Neji is brought back to the Leaf Villages hospital and survives.
