It stopped at 167 episodes...but they're not adding any of the manga to continue the series.
Answers: i think they should only continue if the entire main conflict is about to be resolved. inuyasha has been running for a long time now, and they've restarted the series so many times on adult swim i've lost count. i think the people who are in love with this series and have no other means of watching it deserve to see the ending. yeah they should revive the series cos in my opinion itll never be resolved until inuyasha and his bro duke it out to see who kills the bad guy but i think itll best served if they are forced into an uneasy team up to take him out :D yes! they need to make more!! i wanna know what happens in the end! wait no i NEED to know!!! i love inuyasha!!!
