What is naruto shippuden???
i have not seen all naruto episodes or read all the books so i have no idea what naruto shippuden is...the only thing i know is that they are older...i just became a naruto fan over the summer so...please help!
Answers: shippuden is basically like a part 2 of naruto. it takes place after the 1st section of naruto. It has a different name because they actually grew up. in naruto, they are 12 yrs old and in shippuden they're 16 (around). naruto shippuuden is part 2 after the time skip. its mostly about akatsuki and the retrieval of sasuke. there are now 15 ( most of them). they were 12 in part 1 (most of them)shippuuden means hurricane chronicles. oh and zabb... you're wrong about their ages. naruto shippuden is the continuation of naruto its mainly about the akatsuki and naruto trying to find and bring sasuke back Actually in Naruto they are 14 and in shippuden they are 17 he only left for 2 years so when he got back he was 16 but by time they start hunting akatski he is 17 Naruto even said he was 17 when he was fighting with deidara.
and to answer your question Shippuden are the new episodes taking place 2 years after the last naruto episode much like how Dragon ball became Dragon Ball Z. In shippuden Naruto returns from his training with jiraiya and the leaf village begins pursuing akatski and sasuke Naruto shippuden is like a second series of Naruto. It's where all the characters are grown up and improved! Especially Sakura, she's my favorite character! Naruto Shippuden is after a whole lot of filler episodes and is basically part two when they continue with what they left off at in the end of Naruto. This one focuses more on the Akatsuki and what they are doing, Sasuke and where he is in his vengence, and how Konoha's coping.
Between the Naruto and the Shippuden, it ages over a period of 3 years and during this break Naruto goes onto a three year training adventure with Jaraiya(one of the three legendary sannin) to train to get Sasuke back and defend himself from the Akatsuki.When the Shippuden starts, they are all like 15 , 16 or like 17. They are completely dressed differently(most of them) and they honed their abilities. Like Hinata gets better with Byakugan and Sakura doesn't suck anymore!!! She actually does something!
(Zabb z is wrong about how long they were gone. It was moer like 3 or 2 1/2 years and they left when Naruto was 12. So he is like 14 or 15. They even state how old they are and how long he left for.)
If you read fanfictions, most people set their fics during this time period because its easier and you don't have to restrict what they can do.Now most people refer to the first part as Naruto and the second is just Shippuden.
