It's often the case in a lot of anime that you don't see the main character or side character's family/parents- epsecially if you are talking about adults, like a lot on that list are.

And come on... the parents of the Hokages? Isn't that asking for a little much? They would obviously be powerful ninjas, so next you would be clamoring for the parents of the parents of the Hokages...

I don't think they show the parents of rock lee, neji etc because they're not relevant to the plot.

First of all, I'd like to point out to you that just because a char's parents were never shown, that doesn't mean they didn't have them.

One of the themes of Naruto (according to what I've researched) is actually loneliness and how people deal with it.

most of them dont have parents because scince they are shinobi their parents were most likely shinobi 2 meaning they prolly died during a mission

well because it isnt much revelent to the story...

naruto lives alone and they put so much emphasis on that fact that we as the audience should assume they all have parents...
they cant go into detail with EVERYONES parents... and judging on the fact that tsunade juriya and orochimaru are all 5o sumthing i'll bet that their parents were ninja that were KIA (killed in action) or have died in one of the wars ... or sumthing

and obito's parents were probabky killed in the uchiha massacre...

rin wasnt in the story long enoughfor the writers to go and randomly show her parents... it would be irrelevent

anyways ... we as the audience should assume that most of them have parents... its our job to use our imaginations if it matters that much to u ...

Jiraiya and Tsunade are both old enough that their parents are almost definitely dead. Team Konohamaru are so unimportant that they don't even really deserve to exist.
