I wouldn't consider you a 'true' anime fan, as those are more of the mainstream/adult swim animes. Though in retrospect, liking any form of anime, regardless of where it's shown, or what genre it is, you are still an anime fan.

If u've watched them its fine but remember there are a lot of good "awesome gun action anime's" out there.

Yeah you can consider yourself an anime fan since the three titles you mentioned are all animes and you find them awesome. You jus't aren't a real hardcore anime addict. Maybe in due time you will be. Those three are a good start. =)

Try watching other animes of different themes like naruto, death note, bleach and kenichi. These are nice and are easy to grow on you.

Well, I could say you're a GENUINE anime fan but a TRUE one is something every Otaku strives for.

Here's some advice, watch more titles! Be more open-minded. Learn to explore different kinds and you might find yourself liking a title (or even a genre) that you never expected to like before!

I do not believe in a clear definition of a true anime fan. If you like anime and enjoy watching it (whether it is 1 anime or hundreds), you are an anime fan clear and simple!
