i heard of it b4 nd itz pretty good...there are no movies or ova and it has 25 episodes i think nd u can watch it on utube....it bout music .... so itz prettie good.

La Corda D'Oro has 25 episodes...no OVA's just a few character CD's and drama CD's that won't be of any use to you unless you are fluent in Japanese.

The main characters are Hino Kahoko, a student at a school who chooses the violin as her course of study, and Lili, a fairy who gives her a magical violin that can play any tune that Kanoko can think of. Most of the other characters are people who play other instruments in her orchestra and the teachers at her school.

I enjoyed it, the anime, as well as the manga equivalent. I am a string musician myself, playing both viola and violin, so I found the setting of the story to feel very familiar to me. I mean, I have seen better anime, but if you like music, I think it is worth watching. The characters are fun too.
