he's prolly handsome,as I can tell from the reaction of the ramen shop girl.But since most of his ninja peers have remnants of scars,I'd say he has a scarthat he covers.Seems alot of them cover up alot,not for appearances but for looks .

it seems he's not ugly, kishimoto's jokes saying those that see his face fall in love with him so he's probably really handsome...however no one has ever seen him without a mask and it has never been shown in neither the manga or anime...the only person who has seen him without his mask...is Rin the medic nin from his old team...when she is seen taking care of him u see him without his mask on but u cant see his face cause he has his back to us in the drawing but u see that his mask is off...seems like she's the only one he trusts enough to see him without it...
