Answers: i know loads of people already asked this, but i just really want to know which one is the most popular and most loved manga.

well... my number one fave manga is fruits basket... which alot of people might say... so ill skip to my second fave which i love just as much!! (fruits basket was one of my very first faves... thats why it has to be #1... BUT its sooo awesome!!!

ok, fruits basket aside, its SKIP BEAT by Yoshiki nakamura!!
its about a girl named kyoko who follows the guy she loves, sho, to tokyo so that he could become a star. he then falt leaves her calling her his "servant" and such.
well, something in kyoko is released (literally) and she is no longer the pushover girl she once was. she vows to take her revenge on sho... even if it means joining show buisness and working in the same company as Ren tsuruga, the man who she had always though of as an enmy to sho!!

its sooo funny!! kyoko has these little...er...kashibayashi (?) things that are kind of like evil, funny spirits (you know how you have a good angel and a bad angel over your shoulder guiding you? its like that ^^) that attack when sho is near and advise her!! lol!!!

plus! theres kind of like a love triange between her, ren and sho! no... there is one!!

the art is amazing and and the story line is awesome!! so cool!!! simply amazing!!! one of the best manga ever!!!

but i do like tramps like us alot..its pretty funny...but its not better than lupin the 3rd..nothing beats lupin.

fantastic storyline and artwork

the characters are all great too

but it is rather long series

Naruto and bleach are good too but are soo long and still ongoing

the first two are very violent and a classed as classics and the second two are directed by one of japans mostvtalented directors hayao miyazaki. Please, please, please watch them. You WONT be dissappointed

Probably Rave Master. I fell in love with the anime and when it was canceled I started reading the manga.

My most favorite and loved manga of all time is the Saiyuki series by the great mangaka Kazuya Minekura. I LOVE her spin on the ancient Journey to the West fable. The story is pretty straightforward but mostly the characters are...ah just so unique. This woman KNOWS how to draw grown men and she can tell a story so well. I always look forward to new volumes of Reload.

Blade of the Immortal by Hiroaki Samura.

It's a series with beautiful, detailed artwork and an intriguing samurai fantasy story. The characters are all very well-developed and everyone I know who reads it has very strong feelings about each one of them. Definitely not like every manga out there.
