Where did the rumor that Iruka was the fourths son come from?!

No idea..and yes xelca naruto really is the fourth's son...it was revealed in chapter 367..here's the link in the chapter where the conversation reveals his parents...

anyway bak to your question rauj...i dont know who made it up or came up with the theory and its the first time ive ever heard it...but if you wanna know how i think it probably came to be i would think was...when there was that scene in the show where you see Iruka being dragged away crying from the battle field and the next scene you see the fourth on top of Gamabunta.../shrug...maybe the person didnt pay attention and mistaken Iruka's cries for his parents as cries to the fourth in which they suspect was his father...
-taps chin-...ah...also the person might have suspected this since he as a child hated the nine tails (naruto) for killing his('their' as that person would have thought) parents.../shrug...even though naruto is considered a more childish anime in the US it actually requires the same amount if not much more concentration and attetion to detail than any other anime/manga....words and actions can be misread at any moment and you will end up with a completly crazy theory...lol...but yea he isn't his son and naruto is...so in the end we win right? lol...

anyways in one of the fillers the explain what happened to his parents... they died when kyuubi attacked konoha... and the fourth's son is obviously naruto... which u know already
