Vegeta...he's the under dog. He is a bad *** mofo...and he really doesnt give a rats *** what you think. And he probably has the best theme song ever!!!
I would have to say Vegita during the Majin Buu saga. During that saga, he not only tried to get stronger for the benefit of himself, but also to defeat the evil that had came to destroy earth. The episode where Vegita self-destructs is just FREAKIN TOTALLY AWSUME MANN! But other than that he was my favorite character for that time being.
its been awhile since ive seen dbz, but my fave is Trunks most definitely. I also like goten, idk. but trunks is one of the coolest saiyans b/c he is VERY powerful and hes not arrogant like his father or other saiyans, for that matter. and hes a beast with a sword. He tore friezas *** up and tht was cool.
goten , on the other hand, is just a cool character cus he doesnt really care for anything but having a good time.
Son Gohan.Because he had unlimited hidden potential.Too bad he stopped training after the Cell Saga.
If he kept on training,he would reached SSJ3 with ease.Too bad they had to make him into a nerd after the Buu Saga,the way his mum wanted him to become.
I'd like the part when he reached the Mystic form.His power is like more than SSJ3.
Even Akira, the creator, said that Gohan was the strongest unfused character after DBZ, when Buu died. As far as DBGT, Akira did not create that and so, it is not really part of the DBZ universe.
Other than that, Vegito, the fusion of Vegeta and Goku was clearly the strongest.
SSJ3 Goku was slightly weaker than Gohan.And try not to say that Gohan had less experience than Goku.Gohan had very rough training when he was just 5,with Piccolo.And he battled Vegeta and Freeza in that age.While Goku's first battle clearly started with King Piccolo Daimao,when Goku was 15 years old.
Other than Gohan,my favourite character is Uub,only because he is just a human,not alien.
I don't have a specific reason to like a DBZ character; I just pick cute ones :P

My favorites are in this order: Shenron, Gohan, and Cell. Shenron because when I first watched DBZ, his voice was friggin' awesome! He's the character that got me into DBZ! The concept of such a scary type of character helping out when summoned is so classic. We really wouldn't have DBZ without him. Gohan because it seems like DBZ was a story of Gohan's life. The world didn't revolve around him, but we watched him grow up since like 4 1/2 years of age into a man by the end of the series. He was the strongest character for more than a few times, also. Cell because, well have you seen him in action? His perfect form was the best! He was so sophisticated, and a bit arrogant, which made him into a great character! Better than Frieza! He'd be the strongest character to this day if he wasn't disintegrated completely by Gohan.
