it depends, if the filler episodes have something to contribute to a side plot, charactor development, or are interesting details of the over all story than no i dont hate filler episodes.
i actually like it when an anime explores other areas than just only on one theme or plot.
i dont like filler episodes that have nothing to contribute to the story or charactor development and are just there for some reason and take up time. that is frusterating and i do hate that.
as long as there is some kind of purpos or bases, or point, i do like them and welcome them. i actually perfer to have something more going on in the plot other than the back bone, but make it have a backbone its self. as for the above animes-
ghost in the shell- has no filler episodes and incorperates interesting plots along with episodes that suport the over all them, but not that much. it tend to stay to the over all theme and not defer that often. but the over all theme is really good so i dont think it needs it. its worth the watch, a great anime and one of my faverates. i highly recomend it.
death note- yes but good filers not the kind i hate. worth the watch greate anime series.
trinity blood- not really long enouh to have a set of filler. its a short one season series but good. i recomend that to. (last i checked anyway they may have added more episodes)
as for gungrave i have never seen it. and as for hellsing i havent seen enough of it to comment.

I don't know about those series (I haven't had the chance to see them yet.), but filler episodes don't bother me. I like them.
most short anime's (around 26 episodes) generally dont have fillers
and i dont really mind fillers as long as they realize they are just fillers and dont try to act important, and there arnt too many of them
all I know is death note has no filler episodes!
from the animes you gave, I'v seen death note till the end, so I can at least say death note has no filler episodes : )
sometimes I do like some filler episodes, but some of them are really annoying!
Alright here we go...Deathnote...No fillers..Gungrave...No fillers....Ghost in the Shell.... 1st season 4 episode fillers...2nd season 6 episode fillers...Helsing....1st anime.....2 episode fillers...Helsing Ultimate series....No fillers..Trinty Blood...No fillers...By the way if you like those anime you have to check out...."Berserk"..Witchblade..Tokko..to name a few...Sometime filler episode help character development and enhighten the story...Other times it's just a recap or a side story that has nothing to do with anything..Hope you enjoy...
