Favorite comic book or graphic novel that has not been made to be movie or anima!

Question: Why is it your favorite? How would you implement it to be a movie?
What is the synopsis of the book?

That's a great question. The first one that comes to mind would be the "Infinity Gauntlet" by Marvel. Reason being it features Thanos, a major baddie in the Marvel Universe, and many other Marvel heroes. It has a cosmic theme to it, and the story is a lot of fun. It also features Captain America doing the impossible--stopping Thanos. However, this would be difficult, given the storyline and the unfamiliarity most people would have with the characters and story. This is just a fancy on my part.

Realistically, I don't think there are many graphic novels that would translate well to the silver screen, but there are comic book titles and certain storylines that would. Bear in mind that the X-Men and Spider-Man movies all borrowed bits and pieces from the comic books and graphic novels (X-Men--Days of Future Past, etc.)

I do know that the Watchmen is filming right now, and I am so stoked about this, I can barely stand it. It is of course the greatest graphic novel--ever--in my opinion, and Zack Snyder (director of the movie 300--based on Frank Miller's graphic novel of the same name) is directing this.

There are plans for another installment of Sin City.

I do know casting is going on for a potential Justice League movie. I hope they pull this one off!!!!!

I also know there are definite plans for a Capt. American and Avengers movie, but I wonder if they will produce this sooner than originally announced due to Justice League starting.

I am digressing and making comments, but I just can't peg any one certain graphic novel or comic book into a movie.

I think, though, that Neil Gaiman's Sandman: The Endless would be a beautiful movie as it is more fantasy than any type of superhero material. Stardust is an example (though I have not seen it yet).

O.K., here is what could work: Justice League, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Capt. America, Avengers, Thor,---what about She-Hulk?

for a single book, House of M, i would do a direct adaptation, simply because i would love to that story directly on the big screen, i mean, come on, that has been the best marvel shocker in a long time, and after that(as a sequel) i would do Marvels Civil War because a lot of the characters have already been introduced into the Marvel film universe so it would be easy to do that, i just love both of those, and think that marvel has some of the best comic book writers of TODAY(Bendis is the best NOW, but hes no Frank Millar)

I would love to see the graphic novel "Teenagers From Mars" by Rick Spears and Rob G made into a movie.

I know they just did GHOST RIDER, but I would have taken a totally different approach. I'd have made it into a SLASHER / HORROR flick, with GR as a Freddy Kruegger type character, dispensing 'justice' on people.
