BLEACH question! For anime/bleach fans?!
Question: So, the first chapter of volume 1, Bleach, is called :"death and strawberry" right? Well, if Ichigo means strawberry, does this mean that Rukia's name has something to do with the word death? Or it refers to SHingiami (death god)?
Even so, does anyone know what Rukia means?

I think it does have to do with the fact that Rukia's a Shingiami which means death god...i mean it can't mean her name cause her name means rotten wood...
here's what her names mean...
NAME -
The kanji in her name translates as "rotten wood" which can be seen in two ways. One could refer to her humble beginnings in a poor neighborhood, before her rise to nobility. The second is the fact that she spent so long with her full potential sealed away by her Gigai, essentially rotting away at the foundation of her strength by draining her Spiritual Power for so long. Either of these are open to arguement, as they are only possible thoughts.
