Haha. Lamps wins. Death Note did have a great first arc, but Lamps list is pretty much complete awesomness. I may not have enjoyed every title he has listed, but essentially every single one of those are widely reguarded as being brilliant works of anime or and some would go so far as to say masterpieces.
Plus, anyone who started talking about great series you never hear about on Y!A (eg Mushishi) get's an automatic thumbs up from me.
1. Eureka Seven. I loved this series so much; it made me cry for the last 5 or so episodes and it was amazing and as soon as I stop being a poor college student I am buying the DVD's.
2. Blood +. Because Haji is sexy (jk). I just love the story and all the complexities so far. The English voice cast is horrendous, though.
3. Death Note. Amazing series, no arguments there.
I love FMA, too but to the people who said Bleach, you're kidding yourselves. Bleach was 10 great episodes followed by total and complete implosion of animation and storyline. To be fair, I haven't seen Hellsing or Gungrave, but I still think I'd leave Eureka Seven as my number one.
