Nope, he ain't.
First, he's not a fully saiyan.
Second, he's not trained very hard as Goku does
Third, his strength does not increasing and has a limit, unlike his father.
If he did stronger than Goku, then the whole story would be ruin, dat the main character is weaker..!

no because gohan stop's going super saian(sorry can't spell it) and that goku goes to super saian 4 but gohan only goes to 2 so goku is stronger
depends what part of series in the first episodes of dbz gohan is actually stronger but in a fight goku will win because gohan cant control it.In the frieza saga goku easily.In the cell saga, has 2 be gohan killed super cell. Majin buu saga, this is tough but probably goku very close. in dragonball Gt goku is a lot stronger, gohan stops training.
Gohan was meant to be stronger, but his mom made him become a super nerd. I think he just stopped training to have more time to study.

Well, initially Gohan was meant to be stronger, he was actually meant to be the main character of DBZ. It had originally been planned for Goku to remain dead after the fight with Raditz. However, the fans did not like this idea at all, and after enough fan mail expressing discontent at Goku's death, Akira Toriyama wrote him back into the series and made Goku the main character. Additionally, Toriyama intended for the end of DBZ to be the end of the Dragonball saga. GT only came about because of some red tape BS in his contract with his manga company.
Gohan being a half-breed has nothing to do with his strength or limitations for that matter. Had he continued training he could have easily become stronger than his father, same applies to Goten and Trunks. Sadly, the children decided to take a different path than that of their fathers, thus Goku and Vegeta continued to be the strongest Saiyans alive until the end of the series.

in the new seris coming out (i think in jap. though) he goes to ss4 but goku gets to ss5
( trunks gets to ss4 too he looks so coolllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!)
From the Hyperbolic Time Chamber training for the Cell Games through the end of DBZ, Gohan is the strongest individual character. The only characters that surpass him are Super Buu, Vegitto, and maybe Gotenks, and they are all merged characters. Even Kid Buu is only about on par with him.
Goku gets the lead back in GT, but it was pure fanservice and wasn't written by Akira Toriyama.
