Right now, I'm starting Death Note and it seems to be pretty good.
I don't know exactly what to recommend, but this site lists tons of animes you could watch. They have all sorts of animes and a lot of anime movies too. It's called www.animeviewer.net and it's awesome! I go there all the time. It's completely free and you don't have to download anything.
I haven't been here yet, but the site crunchyroll.com is supposed to be really good. It's like youtube, but for anime and Japanese television shows and movies. My Japanese teacher actually recommended this to the class and he knows what he's talking about! He goes to Tokyo every summer to meet up with his Japanese friends there.
