80's Cartoon Question.?!
Question: Think back to your 80's cartoons. I'm wanting to know if the Music from the 80's He-Man cartoons was a particular piece of music (( and if so what it is )) or if it was music specifically done for that show. I'm looking for it. Thanks in advance.

According to the IMDB, it was a piece written specifically for the show by Haim Saban, Shuki Levy and Louis Scheimer. (Note- I can't believe I actually looked that up. Shouldn't I be working?)
I just did a quick Google search and found more hits from "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" than I expected, some of which give cast lists and some production credits for the cartoon series, but apparently the music theme from the series wasn't considered important enough to list, so I can't really answer your question.
I also checked the "Masters of the Universe" film credits and learned that Bill Conti was the musical director for the film. Conti is probably still best known as the composer who wrote the musical theme for the film "Rocky." Although I don't know for a fact, there is a good chance Conti produced the theme music for the cartoon, and was hired to do so because of the success of the Rocky theme (which many high school bands were playing when the cartoon series was first being storyboarded). I say that because I think there is a strong likelihood that the same music may have been used for the film as was used in the cartoon series.
If I had more free time today, I might be able to do some variant searches on Google, but you can try that yourself. Just be warned that there is apparently quite a bit of He-Man material on the web, and it might take you quite awhile to find what you want.
