The reason it was short was that, when the manga got to the point that is shown around episode 20-21, the author died, and the manga was wrapped up quickly by one of his friends, just to give it some semblance of closure.
It would be nice if they continued the series.
Trinity Blood was just a small series, like FLCL and Big O
It would be nice if they did, TB was awesome...
unfortunately they left us with 24 episodes only
